Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a Category Manager to develop and implement category strategies, lead sourcing activity and manage supplier performance. The role focuses on delivering long-term value through governance of contracts and continuous improvement across the organisation.

The candidate will work with stakeholders across Not for Profit sectors, managing supplier relationships, analysing spend and market trends, and reporting savings and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in category management or strategic procurement in a commercial role.
• Experience leading sourcing and procurement activities.
• Experience managing supplier relationships and supplier performance.
• Experience with contract management and governance.
• Experience of regulated procurement including PA23.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver category strategies that align with organisational objectives.
• Lead sourcing and procurement activities with compliant, commercially effective processes.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships to understand requirements and deliver procurement solutions.
• Manage supplier relationships and monitor contract performance against outcomes.
• Analyse spend, market trends and supplier data to guide decision making and identify opportunities.
• Collaborate with finance and operations to track savings and report performance.
