Michael Page is seeking a Category Manager to develop and implement category strategies, lead sourcing activity and manage supplier performance. The role focuses on delivering long-term value through governance of contracts and continuous improvement across the organisation.

The candidate will work with stakeholders across Not for Profit sectors, managing supplier relationships, analysing spend and market trends, and reporting savings and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in category management or strategic procurement in a commercial role.
• Experience leading sourcing and procurement activities.
• Experience managing supplier relationships and supplier performance.
• Experience with contract management and governance.
• Experience of regulated procurement including PA23.

• Develop and deliver category strategies that support business objectives, maximise value and manage commercial risk.
• Lead sourcing and procurement activities, ensuring fair, compliant and commercially effective processes.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders to understand requirements and develop procurement solutions.
• Manage supplier relationships and contract performance, ensuring delivery against agreed outcomes.
• Analyse spend, market trends and supplier performance data to support decision making and identify opportunities.
• Work collaboratively with finance and operational teams to track savings, forecast benefits and provide performance reporting.

Profile

• Experience in category management, strategic procurement or a similar commercial role.
• Experience leading sourcing and procurement activities.
• Experience managing supplier relationships and supplier performance.
• Experience of contract management and governance.
• Experience of regulated procurement including PA23
