Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a Category Manager to lead procurement for a designated category within a Not-for-Profit organisation. You will develop category strategies, manage supplier relationships and govern sourcing activities to drive value and ensure compliant processes.

The role focuses on delivering measurable savings, collaborating with finance and operations, and building strong stakeholder relationships across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Experience in category management, strategic procurement or a similar commercial role.
• Experience leading sourcing and procurement activities.
• Experience managing supplier relationships and supplier performance.
• Experience of contract management and governance.
• Experience of regulated procurement including PA23.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver category strategies that support business objectives, maximise value and manage commercial risk.
• Lead sourcing and procurement activities, ensuring fair, compliant and commercially effective processes.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders to understand requirements and develop procurement solutions.
• Manage supplier relationships and contract performance, ensuring delivery against agreed outcomes.
• Analyse spend, market trends and supplier performance data to support decision making and identify opportunities.
• Work collaboratively with finance and operational teams to track savings, forecast benefits and provide performance reporting.
