Job summary

Retirement Villages Group is seeking a Capital Reporting Management Accountant to join our Finance team. You will own the Group Fixed Asset Register, produce depreciation, and deliver capital reporting for development activity and new home profitability.

You’ll collaborate with Development and Finance teams, monitor development spend and cash flows, and support month-end journals, balance sheet and P&L reporting for development entities.

Qualifications

• Experience in a management accounting or similar finance role.
• Experience in property, development, or capital-intensive environments is ideal.
• Studying towards CIMA/ACCA/ACA.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the Group Fixed Asset Register for property, furniture and equipment.
• Calculate and post monthly depreciation, ensuring reconciliation to the finance system.
• Prepare capital reporting for monthly management accounts and analyse new home profitability.
• Monitor development spend, budgets and cash flow forecasts.
• Prepare month-end journals and reconciliations for development entities.
• Support balance sheet and P&L reporting for development companies.
• Partner with Development and FP&A to budget marketing spend.
• Prepare audit packs for development entities and respond to queries.
