Job summary

Retirement Villages Group is seeking a commercially minded Capital Reporting Management Accountant to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Senior Group Finance Manager, you’ll manage financial accounting, reporting and analysis of capital spend and development activity.

Working with Development and Finance teams, you’ll provide insight to support decision-making across our growing portfolio of retirement villages.

Qualifications

Part-qualified accountant or working toward CIMA, ACCA, or ACA.
Experience in management accounting in property, development, or capital-intensive environments.
Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
Detail-oriented with ability to meet deadlines.
Clear communication of financial information to non-finance colleagues.

Responsibilities

Own and maintain the Group Fixed Asset Register for property and assets.
Calculate monthly depreciation and reconcile assets to the systems.
Prepare capital reporting for monthly management accounts and new home profitability.
Monitor development spend, budgets and cash flow forecasts.
Prepare month-end journals and reconciliations for development entities.
Support balance sheet and P&L reporting for development companies.
Calculate and track transfer margins and consolidation eliminations.
Provide financial analysis to inform development decisions.
Work with FP&A to budget marketing spend for new developments.
Prepare audit packs and assist with audit queries.
Build relationships across Finance and Development.
Contribute to finance, systems and transformation projects.
