Job summary

Retirement Villages Group is seeking a commercially minded Capital Reporting Management Accountant to join our Finance team in Greater London. You will manage capital spend accounting, reporting and analysis to support our portfolio of retirement villages.

Reporting to the Senior Group Finance Manager, you’ll partner with Development and Finance teams, drive process improvements and deliver insightful month-end reporting for development projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in a management accounting or similar finance role in a capital-intensive environment.
• Part-qualified status or working towards CIMA, ACCA or ACA.
• Strong Excel skills: XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, PivotTables.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the Group Fixed Asset Register for property, furniture, fixtures and equipment.
• Calculate and post monthly depreciation; reconcile Fixed Asset Register to the finance system.
• Prepare capital reporting for monthly management accounts and development profitability analysis.
• Monitor spend across development projects with budgets and cash flow forecasts.
• Assist with balance sheet and P&L reporting for development entities.
