Job summary

Kirklees College in Huddersfield is seeking a Head of Capital Projects based at Waterfront, to lead the college's capital investment programme. You will ensure projects are planned, governed and delivered safely, compliantly and efficiently to enhance the estate and support learner experience.

The role oversees delivery, procurement, contractor and consultant management, capital budgets and governance, CDM responsibilities, and collaboration with stakeholders across the college to translate

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Construction, Building Surveying, Project Management, Engineering.
• Demonstrable experience delivering construction, refurbishment or capital projects.
• Ability to manage budgets, contractors and stakeholders and communicate technical information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Lead the College's capital projects and estate improvement programme, ensuring strategic planning and delivery.
• Oversee project delivery, procurement, contractor and consultant management, capital budgets and governance.
• Ensure CDM compliance and safe, compliant project execution.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the College to align investment with curriculum priorities and learner experience.
