Job summary

Ralliant in Brighton, East Sussex, seeks a proactive Buyer to join our Supply Chain team. You will manage supplier relationships, raise POs, expedite deliveries, and ensure a cost-effective, reliable flow of materials to support short-term needs and long-term objectives.

The role works with Production, Engineering, Quality, Sales and Customer Service to optimize lead times, negotiate terms, and drive cost-saving initiatives, including PPV improvements and supplier consolidation, while supporting

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing procurement and supplier management.
• Strong negotiation and cost-reduction focus.
• Proficient in ERP systems and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Raise and manage purchase orders in ERP.
• Expedite supplier deliveries to maintain material availability.
• Maintain and improve material flow while meeting quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
• Maintain ERP master data including lead times and safety stock.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with suppliers.
• Drive PPV improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
• Identify and qualify suppliers to strengthen the supply base.
• Support NPI projects and supplier onboarding.
