Portfolio Procurement Ltd has been engaged by a Bedfordshire-based client to recruit for a Buyer. You will manage an end-to-end portfolio of products and the associated supply base.

You will maintain and develop supplier relationships, manage internal stakeholders, and oversee inventory to ensure availability across your portfolio. Strong organisation skills and ERP/MRP experience are essential for success in this role.

• Experience in a Buying role is essential.

• Maintain and develop effective supplier relationships.

• Management of you assigned commodities to ensure continuity of supply.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure availability across your product portfolio.
• Implement opportunities to improve service, cost and inventory.
• Provide updates on any supply issues, risk and shortages.
