Gems Setra in Brighton is seeking a proactive Buyer to join our Supply Chain team. You will manage supplier relationships, raise POs in the ERP, expediting deliveries and ensuring cost-effective material flow to support operations and NPI.

You will collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality, Sales and Customer Service to strengthen the supply base, drive PPV improvements, and maintain inventory efficiency while upholding quality standards.

Qualificações

• Experience with supplier management and procurement in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of electronics sourcing and component procurement.
• Ability to manage lead times, safety stock, and ERP master data.
• Negotiation of pricing, contracts, and terms with suppliers.
• Drive PPV improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and supplier onboarding.

Responsabilidades

• Raise and manage purchase orders in ERP systems.
• Expedite supplier deliveries to maintain material availability.
• Maintain material flow and meet quality, delivery, and cost targets.
• Maintain ERP master data including lead times and safety stock.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts and terms with suppliers.
• Drive cost-saving initiatives and PPV improvements.
• Identify and qualify suppliers to strengthen the supply base.
• Support cross-functional continuous improvement and Kaizen activities.
• Assist with NPI projects and supplier onboarding.
• Monitor and mitigate supply chain risks.
