Specfab Ltd. in Dungannon is seeking a proactive Purchasing Buyer to secure continuous supply for production and maintain optimal stock levels. You will manage PO processes, BOM accuracy, and supplier communications to ensure timely deliveries.

The role requires proven buyer/stores experience, GCSEs in Maths and English, and a CIPS qualification or engineering background. You will drive improvements, implement Kanban, and collaborate with Sales and Production teams.

Qualifications

• Good level of secondary education with GCSE A–C in Maths and English.
• Experience as a buyer and/or stores in manufacturing.
• Post-secondary education in an engineering-related discipline.
• CIPS qualified.

Responsabilités

• Implement a robust purchasing system to ensure continuity of supply for production and adequate stock requirements.
• Negotiate cost and delivery for all transactions to ensure best value.
• Maintain accurate bills of materials and respond to changes in requirements.
• Build supplier relationships and drive supplier performance and pricing.
• Record purchase orders and ensure receipt of goods for timely invoice payments.
• Maintain suitable stock levels in Stores and support lean systems.
• Collaborate with Supervisors and IMS Team to replenish shortages.
• Fast-track urgent items to site and manage stock outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety standards.
• Contribute to stock accuracy improvements and Kanban implementations.
