Job summary

KAEFER UK & Ireland is seeking a Buyer to join the Supply Chain Team at the Head Office in Newcastle. You will procure goods and services to keep operations running efficiently and will focus on delivering quality, cost and timely supply across the business.

You will raise PORs, expedite where needed, issue RFQs and work with stakeholders to understand requirements and the project pipeline, championing the function across site teams.

Qualifications

• Procurement experience for goods and services.
• Experience in a Supply Chain role.
• Knowledge of DOA and POR processes.
• Experience issuing RFQs and engaging suppliers.
• Ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Raise PORs for goods and services in line with DOA.
• Expedite PORs to ensure lead times are met.
• Issue RFQs and engage with suppliers.
• Engage with stakeholders to understand requirements and project pipeline.
• Support site teams with supply chain activities and guidance.
