Tekever, a leader in unmanned technology in Europe, seeks a Buyer in the UK to own purchases of materials and services, ensuring cost, quality and delivery targets. You will build strong supplier relationships and support production needs in a fast-paced, hybrid work setting.

The role rewards a proactive buyer with knowledge of procurement processes, ERP/MRP systems and risk management, plus a focus on cost reduction and process improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement, sourcing or supply chain.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
• Understanding of supply chain risk.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment.
• Practical, problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Create, manage and expedite open orders to meet production schedules.
• Own and develop supplier relationships, monitor performance and resolve issues.
• Source and issue RFQs, negotiating price, lead time and terms.
• Conduct due diligence on new and existing suppliers.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and ensure processes are followed.
• Collaborate with accounts payable, inventory and logistics.
• Identify opportunities to improve cost, quality and delivery performance.
