Job summary

Ultra LEDs is seeking a Buyer to own strategic product ranging across designated categories, using data to drive sourcing decisions and to support the Head of Buying and wider team.

You will manage KPIs, negotiate with suppliers, build supplier relationships, collaborate with marketing, sales and technical teams, and lead end-to-end delivery from concept to launch in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in range building and data analysis.
• Experience with negotiating and supplier management.
• LED lighting or electrical product background preferred.
• Ability to coach juniors and support team development.

Responsibilities

• Own strategic product ranging across categories and understand market, competitors and customers.
• Manage KPIs for accountable categories including margin and gross profit within targets.
• Use data analysis and benchmarking to identify range gaps and pricing opportunities.
• Own end-to-end delivery of product ranges from concept to launch.
• Lead price and terms negotiation with suppliers and ensure supplier setup is followed.
• Work with Marketing to shape selling plans and keep product information accurate on the website.
• Attend trade shows with commercial objectives and lead supplier meetings.
