Job summary

Advanced Resource Managers Ltd is seeking a Business Manager to support a busy public sector service in Sheffield. The role focuses on effective business planning, performance management, financial forecasting and driving business improvement.

You will lead on budget reporting, service planning and stakeholder communications, while managing staff performance and sustaining continuity and emergency planning arrangements. The contract runs until 31 March 2027.

Qualifications

• Significant experience across finance, HR, business continuity, change management and business support.
• Experience leading and managing staff and delivering challenging objectives.
• Strong financial, analytical and numerical skills.
• Experience developing and implementing processes and information systems.
• Excellent communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support budget reporting, financial forecasting and budget changes.
• Contribute to service business planning and continuous improvement.
• Develop and maintain performance management information and frameworks.
• Lead business improvement and change projects.
• Support business continuity and emergency planning arrangements.
• Manage key internal relationships and service communications.
• Lead on complaints, FOI and Subject Access Requests.
• Provide effective business support and contribute to workforce and resource management.
• Monitor staff performance and support team development.
• Deputise for senior management where required.
