Job summary

Hoot Recruit is seeking a Business Development Manager in Wirral (Office Based) to drive new business for a leading national specialist contractor in construction and safety. You will own an established sales pipeline from day one, win new opportunities and nurture existing client relationships to fuel revenue growth.

You will work with a dynamic sales team, benefit from inbound enquiries and performance rewards, and have clear opportunities for career progression within a growing organisation.

Qualifications

• You’ll be a proactive, commercially minded sales professional with excellent relationship-building skills and a passion for winning new business.
• A proven ability to sell products, services or solutions.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• A strategic and creative approach to business development.
• Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
• The ability to understand technical products and recommend suitable solutions based on customer needs.
• Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• A self-motivated attitude with the ability to inspire confidence in others.
• A good understanding of market competition and commercial positioning.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with new clients, understanding their requirements and presenting tailored solutions.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities, including new markets, partnerships, products and services.
• Produce accurate sales forecasts and work towards achieving agreed sales targets.
• Manage sales opportunities and customer accounts using a CRM system.
• Provide regular sales updates and reports to the Sales Manager.
