Job summary

University of Bath is seeking a Senior Business Analyst on a fixed-term basis (up to 12 months) to join the Strategic Projects Office within the Planning, Performance & Strategic Change department. The role focuses on shaping and delivering high-priority strategic programmes, enabling informed decisions, benefits realisation and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead business analysis activity within complex strategic programmes, establishing clarity, shaping options and making evidence-based recommendations.
• Translate institutional strategy into practical, deliverable outcomes.
• Advise senior leaders on feasibility, impact, benefits and risk.
• Take responsibility for BA work planning and the quality of business analysis outputs across the programme.
• Mentor, support and advise less experienced Business Analysts within the PPSC to help build business analysis capability across the organisation.
