Job summary

Hurstpierpoint College seeks a dynamic Boys Hockey Performance Manager to lead and advance a sector-leading programme across Prep and Senior Schools. You will design a comprehensive development pathway, deliver high-quality coaching, and coordinate staffing, timetables, fixtures and tours while liaising with county, academy and national pathways.

You will report to the Head of Hockey and collaborate with the Girls Hockey Manager, Director of Sport and medical teams to ensure a holistic,

Qualifications

Proven ability to lead and deliver structured hockey programmes within school/academy environments.
Strong coaching standards across age groups and performance pathways.
Excellent organisational and communication skills to manage staff, timetables and events.

Responsibilities

Lead the Boys Hockey programme across Prep and Senior Schools.
Develop and implement a long-term player development pathway aligned to national best practice.
Coordinate staffing, fixtures, transport, tours and external pathways.
Oversee recruitment, partnerships with clubs, academies and England Hockey pathways.
Safeguard pupils and ensure high standards of welfare and compliance.
