Job summary

Alexander Dennis Limited is seeking a BOM Cost Controller to support New Product Development by ensuring material costs are tracked, controlled, and aligned to target. You will collaborate with Procurement and Commercial teams to provide cost insights that underpin tendering, cost of production, and business decisions.

You will analyse Bills of Materials, monitor cost movements, and produce reporting that highlights risks, trends, and opportunities to improve cost performance across projects.

Qualifications

• Analytical thinker with strong data handling skills.
• Experience in cost analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting is preferred.
• Ability to interpret complex datasets to inform business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Analyse Bills of Materials to track costs against targets.
• Monitor cost movements and produce reports highlighting risks and opportunities.
