Job summary

Alexander Dennis Limited is seeking a BOM Cost Controller in the UK to support New Product Development by tracking and controlling material costs across projects. You will analyse Bills of Materials and monitor cost movements to provide insights that drive cost performance.

You'll produce reporting highlighting risks, trends, and opportunities, and collaborate with Procurement and Commercial teams to underpin tendering and cost of production decisions.

Qualifications

• Experience in a commercial, finance, procurement, supply chain or manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work confidently with data.
• Experience in procurement, product costing, cost analysis, variance analysis, budgeting, financial reporting, and data interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Analyse Bills of Materials (BOM) and monitor cost movements.
• Produce reporting highlighting risks, trends, and cost improvement opportunities across projects.
• Support tendering, cost of production and business decision-making with cost insights.
