Job summary

Morrison Construction is seeking a skilled Bid Writer to join the team in Robroyston. You will develop bid strategies, manage governance, lead tender meetings and write client-focused responses, producing CVs and organisational charts as part of compelling submissions.

You will collaborate with subject matter experts, ensure quality in final bids, and contribute to promotional materials and online storytelling while supporting project case studies.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role for a Tier 1 or Tier 2 Contractor.
• Excellent English writing skills; able to solve problems quickly.
• Construction background with ability to understand technical information.
• Ability to communicate with technically oriented people and write responses.
• Strong teamwork mindset and flexible to deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop bid winning strategies with the team.
• Ensure governance and bid management compliance.
• Lead tender launch and finalisation meetings with workshops.
• Create document layouts with the bid-coordinator.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts for responses.
• Produce CVs and organisational charts.
• Review final submissions for key messages and quality.
• Create promotional materials and award submissions.
• Support online presence with social media stories.
• Develop and maintain project case studies.
