Job summary

Fortus Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Bid Manager to join our construction division in Kent. You will lead bid campaigns from planning through to submission, coordinating internal staff and external consultants to build compelling proposals.

The role requires strong experience with PQQs, bid libraries and tender portals, plus the ability to analyse feedback and drive improvements. An excellent salary package is on offer with clear path of progression.

Qualifications

• Experience creating and submitting bid proposals in the construction/housing sector.
• Strong rapport building and research skills to tailor bids.
• Self-motivated with a positive, proactive mindset.
• Ability to coordinate with internal staff and external consultants.

Responsibilities

• Lead the bid process from planning to completion with internal staff and external consultants.
• Manage PQQs/quality bids and track leads via tender portals.
• Attend networking events to promote the business.
• Coordinate external freelance resources as required.
• Create and maintain bid library and content for website and social media.
