Job summary

Trevett Project Services is recruiting a Bid Manager in London to lead the end-to-end bid process, from opportunity identification to submission of winning bids. You will work with Business Development, Operations, and other stakeholders to ensure bids are well-priced, well-written, and demonstrate value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, engineering, construction management).
• Experience in bid management, business development, or a related field.
• Proven track record of successful bid management with a strong win rate.
• Excellent communication, writing, and project management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and manage multiple bids.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to build and maintain effective client and stakeholder relationships.
• Strong knowledge of building services, construction, or related industry.
• Familiarity with bid management software and tools (e.g., BidMaster, Salesforce).

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify new business opportunities through market research, industry events, and networking.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to stay informed about opportunities and market trends.
• Lead and manage the bid process, including reviewing tender documents, developing bid strategies and plans, coordinating the bid team, ensuring compliance, and managing budgets.
• Write, edit, and finalize bid documents, including executive summaries, technical proposals, and pricing schedules.
• Collaborate with the Business Development team to develop and maintain a pipeline of opportunities and track bid performance.
• Work closely with Operations teams to ensure bids are accurately priced and capabilities are showcased.
• Develop and maintain an understanding of services, capabilities, and value proposition; stay current with industry trends and regulations.
• Manage and maintain records of bid opportunities, submissions, and results.
