Job summary

McGee, a London specialist contractor, is seeking a Bid Leader/Preconstruction Project Manager to own the bid lifecycle from ITT to client submission. You will lead the preconstruction team to define the method, programme, and cost to reflect the chosen technical solution for complex groundworks and basements.

You will collaborate with estimating and commercial teams, manage risks and opportunities, and transition to delivery if successful.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in bid leadership for major civil engineering projects.
• Experience with groundworks, basements and complex structures is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the bid lifecycle from ITT receipt to client submission.
• Collaborate with the preconstruction team to develop the best method, programme and cost.
• Coordinate with estimating and commercial teams to reflect the chosen solution.
• Transition the bid to delivery if successful and ensure timely handover.
