Job summary

Mphasis in the United Kingdom is seeking a skilled Business Analyst/Analyst to capture, analyse and translate requirements from business users and production support into clear user stories for the Syndicate AM Development team. You will collaborate with the Solution Architect, Scrum Master, developers and testers to refine backlog, align with delivery vision, and support design decisions.

Strong Azure and insurance domain knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

Good understanding of Insurance domain, systems architecture and software engineering fundamentals.
Strong knowledge of Azure Cloud computing.
Experience working in an Agile delivery environment, ideally Scrum.
Proficient with backlog management tools (Azure DevOps) and KM platforms (Confluence, SharePoint).

Responsibilities

Capture, analyse, and document requirements from multiple channels for the Syndicate AM team.
Prepare backlogs in Initiative/Epic/Feature/User Story formats and refine them with the team.
Ensure alignment with delivery vision to enable faster decisions and smooth sprints.
Support test planning with acceptance criteria and defect triage.
Document system processes and configurations in detail.
