The Abbey School is seeking an experienced Assistant Principal to join our Leadership Team. This full-time, permanent role offers leadership responsibilities focused on school improvement, supporting staff and ensuring excellent pupil outcomes.

The post holder will contribute strategically, while also carrying out teaching duties as outlined in the School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions Document, working with the Vice Principals and Senior Leadership Team to drive high standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in school leadership and driving school improvement.
• Ability to develop staff, set high expectations and raise achievement.
• Strong strategic leadership and vision for learning and teaching.

Responsabilités

• Carry out duties of a teacher as per the School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions Document.
• Provide professional strategic leadership and management of the school.
• Lead behaviour and pastoral initiatives to secure school-wide improvements.
• Collaborate with Vice Principals and Senior Leadership Team to reflect policy in practice.
