Job summary

Carrington West is recruiting on behalf of a Local Authority in Cheshire for an experienced Asset Transformation Surveyor on an initial 5-month contract. You will identify opportunities for asset optimisation, support major transformation programmes and advise senior stakeholders.

You should be MRICS or have significant asset management experience, with a strong grasp of corporate landlord functions and portfolio performance.

Qualifications

• MRICS or equivalent qualification is essential.
• Experience in asset management or property transformation.
• Public sector/Local Authority exposure is highly desirable.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and delivery skills required.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities for asset optimisation, rationalisation, redevelopment and disposal.
• Assess property performance and develop strategic recommendations to improve portfolio efficiency.
• Work with service departments to understand operational needs and deliver property solutions.
• Support property transformation projects and align with corporate objectives.
• Undertake options appraisals and provide surveying advice to senior stakeholders.
