Job summary

Local Space is seeking a Strategic Investment & Asset Intelligence Lead to drive long-term investment decisions, asset intelligence and governance for a growing housing portfolio. You will shape asset data strategies, model investment scenarios and work closely with Finance, Delivery and Compliance teams to ensure value-for-money and resident outcomes.

The role focuses on developing stock condition data, lifecycle models and multi-year investment plans, aligning with regulatory and Decent Homes

Qualifications

• Significant experience in strategic asset management, investment planning or property strategy.
• Strong knowledge of stock condition data, asset data governance and lifecycle information.
• Experience developing 5-year and 30-year investment programmes.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and continuous improvement of the Asset Management Strategy and asset plans.
• Own the asset data improvement roadmap and governance standards.
• Design, procure and QA Stock Condition Survey programmes.
• Act as strategic client lead for the Asset Management System (AMS).
• Develop lifecycle models and 5- and 30-year investment projections.
• Translate asset intelligence into prioritised capital and major works programmes.
• Provide reports and dashboards for senior leadership and boards.
• Support Decent Homes analysis, regulatory reporting and audit readiness.
