Jagex: The RuneScape Company is seeking a Lead Commercial Analyst to own ARPU and subscription performance analysis, linking budgets and forecasts to actions that protect revenue. You’ll collaborate with Pricing & Subscription, Data Engineering & BI, and Finance to build models and Tableau dashboards guiding pricing strategy.

You’ll present insights to senior leadership, support annual budgeting, and help ensure accurate top-line reporting across the business.

Formación

• Significant data and analytics experience, ideally in gaming or subscription models.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python or R.
• Proficiency in visualisation tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Strong forecasting, budgeting and variance analysis skills.
• Ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Own the calculation and in-depth analysis of ARPU, monitoring budgets and forecasts, identifying variances and recommending corrective action where needed.
• Monitor subscription numbers and cohort data against budgets and forecasts, flagging variances and recommending next steps.
• Develop and maintain financial models and Tableau dashboards that support pricing decisions and long-term planning.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of revenue metrics, trends and drivers, including chargebacks and fraud, and assess financial impact.
• Present clear findings to senior leadership to inform strategic discussions.
• Provide ARPU and subscription assumptions into the annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Partner with Pricing & Subscription team to develop long-term pricing strategies and with BI to build datasets and dashboards.
• Work with Finance to create commercial reporting and improve revenue reporting.
