Job summary

Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) is seeking a Strategy Analyst for a 12-month Inside IR35 contract. The role is hybrid, requiring 3 days per week in Manchester or Newcastle, with flexibility to other UK DWP hubs besides London.

You will work in the Credits and Adjustments team, conducting analysis, coordinating workshops, and presenting findings to senior stakeholders. The role emphasizes agile delivery and stakeholder collaboration across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience as an analyst with strategic thinking and strategy delivery mindset.
• Stakeholder engagement at all levels across the business.
• Experience working with technical teams including architects.
• Public sector central government experience.

Responsibilities

• Work within a transformational multi-disciplinary team using agile methodologies.
• Translate business problems and user needs into detailed requirements to deliver value and outcomes.
• Lead workshops, interviews, focus groups and other techniques to understand business problems and user needs.
• Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships and communicate requirements and acceptance criteria across technical and business teams.
• Gain understanding of business processes and model improvements to identify opportunities.
