Job summary

The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) invites applications for the Lead Analyst role within the Digital Analytics Directorate. You will lead the insight behind major digital transformation programmes and shape services millions rely on daily.

You will set visionary analytical direction, collaborate with Ministers and senior leaders, and drive evidence-based improvements across policy, delivery and customer outcomes. This is a Senior Civil Service position.

Responsibilities

• Setting a clear overall vision for the programme of analytical work in the Digital Analytics Directorate and the wider Transformation Group – champion the use of quality analysis.
• Leading with personal vision and objectives for the division, building capability and staff engagement.
• Collaborating with stakeholders across DWP and wider government to establish a high impact evaluation, research and analysis programme.
• Acting as the senior analytical adviser for major transformation programmes, providing strategic challenge and analytical assurance to executive leaders and Ministers.
• Championing customer and colleague insight to inform Operational Delivery, Policy Development and service transformation.
