Job summary

DeepMind is seeking a senior program leader to drive strategy and end-to-end delivery of complex AI initiatives. You will partner with team leads, researchers, policy colleagues, and executives to shape workstreams and ensure timely, impactful outcomes.

You will navigate ambiguity, manage dependencies, and implement solutions to governance and operational challenges while leveraging data and AI tools to drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of program management experience delivering end-to-end, time-bound initiatives.
• Experience with AGI landscape, AI safety, technical foresight or tech policy.
• Experience designing and implementing operational frameworks and cross-functional processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy and end-to-end delivery of complex workstreams across frontier AI strategy and governance.
• Collaborate with researchers, policy colleagues and executives to accelerate high-stakes research and governance initiatives.
• Coordinate executive-facing work by preparing leadership sessions and translating decisions into actions.
• Navigate ambiguity, identify dependencies and mitigate risks in operational challenges.
• Review and improve processes and information flows using data and AI tooling.
