London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine seeks an experienced technology leader to set the strategic direction for core digital systems, data architecture and AI capabilities across the institution.

Reporting to the Director of IT Services, you will lead Enterprise Systems, Web Services and IT Architecture, shaping long-term roadmaps and ensuring secure, scalable solutions that support learning, research and professional services.

Competenze

• Proven experience designing and scaling enterprise-wide data architectures.
• Experience operationalising artificial intelligence and machine-learning within core digital systems.
• Strong working knowledge of regulatory, risk and ethical frameworks underpinning data and AI.
• Significant experience leading enterprise architecture or a similar function.
• Experience leading enterprise business systems and web development services.
• Ability to translate strategic objectives into practical architecture principles, standards and roadmaps.
• Inspirational leadership of highly technical professionals with strong people skills.
• Excellent communication across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience in higher education or research environments is advantageous.
