Job summary

WPP Media Limited is seeking an Associate Director of Planning (12 Month Mat Cover FTC) in London. This senior role leads two major client portfolios, balancing strategic brand work with rapid, culture-driven campaigns, underpinned by HI + AI capabilities.

You will mentor a multidisciplinary team, own key relationships, and drive growth through innovative, data-informed approaches. This is a dynamic, fast-paced leadership position within a pioneering unit.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of account handling or communications planning experience in media/creative/integrated agency.
• Ability to lead, coach and develop a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong commercial acumen and gravitas to interact with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own key client relationships with Karo Healthcare and SC Johnson.
• Bridge media, creative, performance and technology to deliver campaigns.
• Identify growth opportunities and pitch first-to-market ideas using HI+AI.
• Lead delivery balancing strategic and reactive campaigns (Two Gears).
• Oversee end-to-end campaign lifecycle from brief to PCA.
• Ensure financial health through budgeting, billing, and resource allocation.
