Job summary

A Storeperson is sought by Allscreens Nationwide Ltd for an initial 12-week assignment in Glasgow. Working within the Works Management team, you will maintain accurate stock records, manage stock control, and ensure safe handling of equipment and materials for colleagues.

The role is on-site, 35 hours per week (Monday to Friday), with full-time potential after the assignment, contributing to smooth store operations and excellent service to staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in stores, warehouse or stock control is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.
• Experience using stock control or stores management systems.
• Good communication and a customer-focused approach.
• Willingness to learn and adapt quickly.

Responsibilities

• Receive and check deliveries for accuracy and damage, then book items into the stores system.
• Issue, record and replenish stock while keeping storage areas organized and efficient.
• Update stock records, including item details, supplier information and cost.
• Carry out regular inspections of plant, tools and equipment, recording findings and arranging repairs where required.
• Liaise with suppliers to resolve shortages, defects or damaged deliveries.
• Keep the stores area clean, tidy and well organised.
• Respond to enquiries from store users.

Working as part of the Works Management team, you'll help keep the maintenance store running smoothly by maintaining accurate stock control, ensuring safe handling of equipment and materials, and providing excellent service to colleagues.

• Updating stock records, including item details, supplier information and cost
• Carrying out regular inspections of plant, tools and equipment, recording findings and arranging repairs where required

• Responding to enquiries from store users

What you'll bring:

• Previous experience in a stores, warehouse or stock control role would be an advantage, but is not essential.
