Job summary

Future Engineering Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Storeman for our Glasgow-based client. You will join a close-knit manufacturing team, ensuring materials are received, stored and available when needed, with a four-day working week and strong work-life balance.

In this role you will move, organise and control stock across the business, working closely with production and purchasing. Training on stock systems and procedures will be provided to help you settle in confidently.

Qualifications

• Experience in stores, warehouse, goods-in or goods-out.
• Experience maintaining stock records and organising materials.
• Reliable and organised approach to work.
• Confident working in a busy manufacturing environment.

As a Storeman, you will join a close-knit manufacturing team, ensuring materials and components are received, organised and available when needed.With a four-day working week, this position offers genuine work-life balance, long-term stability and the opportunity to take ownership of the stores department.

You will support the movement, organisation and control of materials across the business, working closely with production, purchasing and other departments.This role as Storeman will offer hands-on training on the company's stock systems and internal procedures, giving you the knowledge and support to settle into the role and do your job with confidence.

Your Role as a Storeman Will Include:

• Receiving, checking and recording incoming deliveries
• Preparing materials and components for dispatch
• Maintaining accurate stock records and completing stock counts
• Organising shelving, cages and storage areas
• Working closely with production, purchasing and other departments

As a Storeman You Will Need to Have:

• Previous stores, warehouse, goods-in or goods-out experience
• Experience maintaining stock records and organising materials
• A reliable and organised approach to your work
• Confidence working within a busy manufacturing environment
