Job summary

Adecco is seeking a Stores Operative in Kettering to join our engineering logistics team.

You will receive goods, manage stock in SERVICE GEENI and SICON, and perform picking, packing and despatch to support weekly stock audits and order processing.

This temp-to-perm role offers regular hours, Monday to Friday, with 08:30-16:30 or 09:00-17:00, and opportunities to grow in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

Overview

Stores Operative – Location: Kettering. Contract Type: Temp to Perm. Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 16:30 or 09:00 - 17:00.

Responsibilities

• Goods Receiving: Efficiently receive goods for stock and accurately book them onto the SERVICE GEENI and SICON systems.
• Stock Management: Safeguard stock and coordinate to ensure optimal security.
• Picking & Packing: Handle ad hoc picking lists, pick, pack, and despatch parts with precision.
• Inventory Control: Collaborate with the Accounts Department to manage the Spares inventory and conduct weekly/quarterly audits.
• Expediting Deliveries: Ensure timely delivery of overdue and priority parts.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate stock records and provide photographic evidence for international shipments.
• Customer Support: Provide 24-hour response for spare parts requests.
