Job summary

The Best Connection are currently recruiting a Stores Person to join their busy team in Bridgend. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is reliable, hardworking and keen to develop their skills within a busy stores environment.

Role includes receiving deliveries, stock management, and safe handling with potential forklift advantage. Competitive hourly rate and a stable, full-time path.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work safely and effectively as part of a team.
• Previous stores or warehouse experience advantageous.
• B1 forklift experience/licence advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and checking deliveries, ensuring goods arrive in good condition.
• Safely unloading vehicles using mechanical handling equipment.
• Organising, sorting and managing stock levels.
• Following up on late deliveries and missing goods.
• Maintaining accurate stock records and carrying out stock checks.
• Supplying materials to operatives as required.
• Ensuring all goods are stored safely and appropriately.
• Carrying out general stores duties and keeping the workplace clean, tidy and organised.
