Job summary

MPLOY Limited is seeking an experienced stores/warehouse person for a busy New Milton manufacturing team. You will handle goods-in, stock-keeping and despatching; some light mechanical sub-assembly work may be required. A valid counterbalance forklift license is essential.

Working hours are Monday-Thursday 08:00-16:30 and Friday 08:00-15:30 (39 hours/week) with overtime likely; a higher pay rate applies if you hold a valid FLT license.

Qualifications

Job description

Our client based in New Milton has an immediate requirement for an experienced stores/warehouse person to join their busy manufacturing team.

Applicants will ideally have recent stores or warehousing experience and will be familiar with standard goods-in, stock-keeping and despatching practices. The role may also require you to help with some basic mechanical sub-assembly work as well (no previous experience required). Applicants must have a valid counterbalance forklift license.

Your standard working times will be Monday to Thursday 08:00 am till 16:30 pm and Friday 08:00 am to 15:30 pm (39 hours per week), but there is likely to be plenty of overtime available.

This is a long-term position with the possibility of a permanent contract for the right person who shows the right attitude and aptitude. There is a higher pay rate available should you possess a valid counterbalance forklift license.
The pay rate will be £12.75 per hour(no FLT license), £13.25(with FLT License) with overtime paid at a premium.
