Job summary

Holt Engineering in Poole is seeking a Stores Person/Picker to support the smooth flow of materials, parts and equipment on-site. The role is hands-on within a busy engineering environment, with immediate availability and the expectation to work closely with engineering, production and purchasing teams.

Key duties include receiving goods, picking and issuing materials, stock checks and maintaining stock records, and preparing materials for production.

Qualifications

• Keeping the stores organised and efficient
• Liaising with engineering, production and purchasing teams

The Stores Person/ Picker must have:

• Experienced in picking is essential, stores experience would be advantageous
• Organised with excellent attention to detail
• Reliable and proactive
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Confident handling stock and materials
• Ideally experienced within an engineering or manufacturing setting

Immediate availability is highly desirable.
