Job summary

Gov Facilities Services Limited (GFSL) is seeking a Stores Operative for HMP Send in Woking. You will join a team dedicated to maintaining a safe and secure environment within a closed female prison, working Monday to Friday.

The role offers a permanent contract and requires a forklift certificate, driving license (D1 preferred), and up-to-date health and safety qualifications. As part of GFSL's facilities maintenance team, you will collaborate with tradespeople and administrators to ensure

Job Role: Stores Person

Location: HMP Send, Ripley Rd, Woking. GU23 7LJ

Salary: £28,853.57 per annum

Contract: Permanent - 39hrs per week - Mon-Fri

We are seeking a dedicated Stores Operative to join our team at HMP Send, a closed female prison.

Future Plans.

GFSL has been notified by it's shareholder (MOJ) that the provision of FM Services will in future be delivered by the private sector. This means that following a successful procurement process, GFSL's services will complete transfer to a private sector provider/providers no sooner than August 2027.
