Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is hiring a Stores Operative in Whitefield, Manchester. This hands-on role supports efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of materials, ensuring inventory accuracy and timely supplies for operational teams.

Key duties include goods receiving, stock control, and helping with deliveries. The position requires a full UK driving licence and a forklift licence, with training provided and opportunities within a growing infrastructure support business.

Formación

• Ability to carry out manual handling and physical duties.
• Basic IT skills to support inventory and stock control processes.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Fork Lift Truck Licence.

Responsabilidades

• Receive, unload and safely store deliveries.
• Book goods in and out using the inventory management system.
• Maintain accurate stock records and produce inventory reports.
• Keep storage areas clean, organised and compliant with Health & Safety standards.
• Support the movement, handling and distribution of materials and equipment.
• Assist with deliveries, collections and general labouring duties as required.
• Support vehicle management activities, including vehicle tracking, vehicle checks and administration.
• Follow all company policies, procedures and Health & Safety requirements.
