Job summary

Precision People is recruiting a Storeman in Milton Keynes. The role involves goods inwards, unloading deliveries, inspecting for damage, and cross-referencing against purchase orders.

You will log stock, perform regular counts, and manage inventory of materials and consumables for the production teams. Applicants should have stores/warehouse experience, forklift licence (Counterbalance and Flexi), and familiarity with inventory software and spreadsheets.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a stores or warehouse environment.
• Counterbalance and Flexi Forklift Truck experience/licence.
• Manual handling.
• Familiarity with inventory software, spreadsheets, and creating purchase orders.
• Attention to Detail - high accuracy in counting stock, matching serial numbers.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle goods inwards and receiving.
• Unload delivery trucks, inspect goods for damage or discrepancies, then cross-reference goods against purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Log stock onto the system and perform regular counts.
• Keep stock and control inventory of all materials and consumables.
• Hand out material, paints, consumables etc for jobs to departments in Production.
• Safety and Housekeeping - keep the store safe, tidy and organised.
