Job summary

Recruitable Staffing Solutions is recruiting an experienced Goods In / Storesperson for our client based in Warwick. The role combines goods in, stock control, warehouse administration and forklift work within a small team to keep deliveries moving and stock records accurate.

A valid counterbalance forklift licence and practical operating experience are essential, along with confidence using Excel and stock management systems. You will maintain stock records, locations and safe storage.

Qualifications

• Experience in goods in, storesperson or stock control.
• Valid counterbalance forklift licence and practical operating experience.
• Confident using Excel and stock management systems.
• Experience checking delivery paperwork and maintaining stock records.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Able to work independently and in a small team.
• Reliable and committed to safe working practices.
• Experience handling engineering components, automotive parts or manufacturing materials would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and unloading deliveries using a counterbalance forklift.
• Checking incoming goods against purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Booking stock onto the system, recording quantities, part numbers and storage locations.
• Identifying and reporting shortages, damaged goods and delivery discrepancies.
• Maintaining accurate records of stock movements, issues and returns.
• Picking and packing orders and preparing dispatch paperwork.
• Completing stocktakes and investigating stock differences.
• Keeping storage areas clearly labelled, organised and safe.
• Supporting general warehouse duties and day-to-day administration.
