Qualifikationen

• Full UK driving licence is required.
• B1 Forklift licence; B2 licence is beneficial.
• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a mechanical setting.
• ERM system experience is required.

Aufgaben

• Manage receipt and processing of purchase orders with Buyers and Materials Controllers.
• Coordinate dispatch of equipment and sales orders through NetSuite with correct documentation.
• Assist project mobilisations/demobilisations: check loadout lists, inspect for damage, record photos, report discrepancies.
• Prepare and move project equipment: pack/unpack containers, cabins and spares boxes, load/unload vehicles.
• Collaborate with workshop and yard teams on equipment movements and day-to-day operations.
• Monitor and replenish consumables; prepare project-specific consumables boxes and contribute to stock counts.
• Ensure safe storage of equipment; maintain tidy goods-in/out areas and accurate records.
• Maintain delivery paperwork, photographs and documentation; ensure proper filing.
• Support health and safety culture by following policies, using PPE, and participating in drills.

We are looking for a Stores Operative to join Ashtead Technology's Mechanical Solutions division, based at our state of the art facility in Turriff. In this role, you will be involved with all aspects of Stores operations including receiving, recording and storing goods in as well as preparing and loading goods out accurately and efficiently.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Manage the receipt and processing of purchase orders, working closely with Buyers and Materials Controllers to resolve queries and ensure accurate, timely processing.
• Coordinate the dispatch of equipment and sales orders through NetSuite, ensuring all deliveries meet project schedules and leave site safely, securely and with the correct documentation.
• Play a key role in project mobilisations and demobilisations, checking equipment against loadout lists and delivery paperwork, inspecting for damage, recording photographs and reporting any discrepancies.
• Support the preparation and movement of project equipment, including packing and unpacking containers, cabins and spares boxes, and loading and unloading vehicles.
• Work collaboratively with the workshop and yard teams, assisting with equipment movements and day-to-day operational activities as required.
• Monitor and replenish consumables, prepare project-specific consumables boxes and contribute to regular stock counts to ensure materials are available when needed.
• Ensure equipment is stored safely and correctly, maintaining an organised, clean and tidy goods-in and goods-out area.
• Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing goods, ensuring all delivery paperwork, photographs and associated documentation are completed and filed appropriately.
• Champion a strong health and safety culture by following company policies, using the required PPE, adhering to industry standards and participating in emergency procedures and drills.

What experience you’ll bring:

• Full UK driving licence.
• B1 Forklift licence, B2 also beneficial.
• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within similar industry and or mechanical setting.
• ERM system experience.
