Job summary

Prestige Homeseeker Park & Leisure Homes Ltd in Rushden is seeking an experienced Stores Operative to join its state-of-the-art facility. The role focuses on efficient stores handling, loading/unloading deliveries, and accurate stock movements, with required licences for counterbalance and other lifting equipment.

You will work within a busy production environment, liaising with production staff, managing waste removal, and assisting with regular stocktakes to maintain accurate inventory levels.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy stores/warehouse environment.
• Counterbalance forklift licence.
• PPT (Powered Pallet Truck) proficiency.
• Combi Lift operator experience.
• Full clean driving licence for stock movements.

Responsibilities

• Unloading and loading delivery vehicles with proper paperwork.
• Entering delivery/stock movements into PC.
• Liaising with production staff for material needs.
• Removing production waste in a timely manner.
• Ensuring waste skips are ordered to remove production waste.
• Assisting with stocktakes when required.

We have a permanent opportunity for an experienced Stores Operative to join us at our state-of-the-art facility in Rushden

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

• Working in our busy Stores Department supporting Production-

Main Duties -

• Ensure that all waste from the production line is removed in a timely manner
• Unloading and loading of delivery vehicles ensuring that the correct process is followed and paperwork is completed correctly.
• Entering delivery / Stock movements into PC
• Liaise with production staff as materials are needed
• Ensure all waste skips are ordered to ensure production waste is removed
• Assist with stocktakes when required
