Job summary

Fluor Corp in Ramsgate is seeking a warehouse operative to pick, pack and dispatch parts and materials, ensuring accuracy and timeliness to support operations.

The role involves loading and unloading with forklift, moving vessels with telehandler, maintaining calibration and inspection records, handling Dangerous Goods docs, and performing stock counts.

Candidates should have English fluency, strong organisation, SAP experience preferred, and a forklift licence is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience with stock counts and stock investigation.
• Forklift licence or counterbalance preferred.
• Proficient/fluently English language required.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack and dispatch parts, tools and equipment to support operations.
• Load and unload delivery vehicles using forklift equipment per safety procedures.
• Mobilise vessels and load/unload vessel cargo with a telehandler.
• Manage calibration status and coordinate returns of items due for calibration.
• Monitor and maintain inspection records for PPE and lifting equipment.
• Prepare Dangerous Goods documentation and manifests as per IMDG regulations.
• Conduct periodic inventory and stock counts and resolve discrepancies.
• Receive, issue and consume stock through SAP and maintain inventory records.
• Manage waste streams in line with environmental standards.
• Support warehouse and logistics operations with stock control and materials management.
• Promote health and safety by reporting hazards via RITAS system.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in storage areas and workspaces.
• Experience with stock counts and expiry date management.
• SAP experience would be an advantage.
• Strong organisational skills.
• Fluent English language.

Job description

• Pick, pack and dispatch parts, tools and equipment in a timely and accurate manner to support operational requirements.
• Load and unload delivery vehicles using forklift equipment, ensuring compliance with site safety procedures.
• Mobilise vessels and load/unload vessel cargo using a telehandler in accordance with operational schedules.
• Manage the calibration status of tools and equipment, coordinating the return of items due for calibration.
• Monitor and maintain inspection records for PPE, lifting equipment and associated assets to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Prepare Dangerous Goods documentation and manifests in line with IMDG regulations and company procedures.
• Conduct periodic inventory and stock counts, investigating and resolving stock discrepancies where identified.
• Receive, issue and consume stock through SAP, maintaining accurate inventory records at all times.
• Manage waste streams in accordance with environmental and company standards.
• Support warehouse and logistics operations through effective stock control and materials management.
• Promote a strong health and safety culture by adhering to site procedures and reporting hazards, incidents and observations through the RITAS system.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping, ensuring storage areas, warehouses and operational workspaces remain clean, organised and safe.
  Forklift licence, counterbalance preferred.
• Experience in stock counts/stock investigation, experience in managing expiry dates
