Job description

OVERVIEW:
Working as a full time Stores Operative, you will be responsible for processing all incoming deliveries, the control and issuing of raw materials including the operation of a band saw and the safe packing of finished parts for delivery to customers. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

1. Maintaining accurate inventory
2. Providing on time delivery of material to the machines
3. Assisting multiple teams by supplying and returning material to stores
4. Loading and unloading of courier vehicles
5. Operating Band Saw
6. Packaging finished goods to company standards and SOP’s
7. Operating company fork truck and lifting equipment

REQUIRED:

1. Excellent written and oral communication skills
2. Proficient computer skills
3. Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency
4. Highly motivated, self-directed
5. Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Prior material handling experience
2. Hold a Fork Truck and reach truck license
