Morson Group in Loudwater, Buckinghamshire, is seeking a proactive Stores/Warehouse Operative for a 12-week contract. You will work in a small team handling deliveries, put-away stock, and support goods in, stores and dispatch functions.

The role emphasises safe handling, accuracy, and a hands-on approach to continuous improvement, with heavy lifting and working at height as part of daily duties. PAYE rate £15 per hour plus Holiday Pay.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse or stores environment.
• Experience conducting stock counts and inventory control.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual handling.
• Comfortable working at height and using steps or ladders where needed.
• Ability to work well in a team and proactively solve problems.

About the Role

Our client are currently recruiting for a proactive and reliable Stores / Warehouse Operative to join a busy warehouse and stores team. Working within a team of 4 - 5 people, this is an excellent opportunity for individuals to enter a hands-on role and demonstrate a strong initiative, attention to detail, and a positive approach to continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and distribute deliveries from suppliers and other sources.
• Ensure materials are handled safely and correctly.
• Store received goods in designated locations and put away stock safely.
• Pick and issue materials for production, sales orders, customer orders, shortages and material requisitions in line with operational requirements.
• Prepare goods for dispatch in accordance with company procedures and quality standards.
• Support Goods In, Stores, and Dispatch functions as required.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
• Follow all company Health & Safety policies and procedures at all times.

Essential Experience

• Previous experience working within a warehouse or stores environment.
• Experience conducting stock counts and inventory control activities.
• Physically fit and capable of carrying out manual handling duties, including heavy lifting.
• Comfortable working at height using steps or ladders when required.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset.
