Job summary

ESSENTIAL EMPLOYMENT LTD in Gateshead is recruiting a temporary Stores Operative for an hourly PAYE rate of £13.26. The role involves collating and issuing materials at the stores trade counter and accepting deliveries from suppliers.

You will prepare materials kits for planned works, deliver materials and PPE to sites, assist with stock control, record transactions on IT systems, and maintain the Van Stock system. This is a temporary position with potential for future opportunities.

The successful candidate will collate and issue materials via Stores trade counter, accurately check and accept deliveries into Stores from suppliers, prepare materials kits for planned work schemes and deliver materials and PPE to sites. They will assist the Senior Stores Operatives in the management of stock control of materials including goods in and out and monitor economic stock levels, input data recording material transactions onto IT systems and maintain the Van Stock system.
